Mechanical Engineering

We design sustainable mechanical systems focusing on comfort, reliability, value, and energy efficiency to ensure a healthy environment for building occupants now and in the future. We effectively plan, select, design, and implement complete HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection building systems on time and on budget for all types of residential, commercial, institutional and government projects.

Through AutoCAD and BIM modelling software (REVIT), our designs contain a level of detail such that the mechanical components integrate smoothly into the building’s architecture and structural layouts.

Electrical Engineering

We design safe and resilient electrical systems that optimize the whole system’s performance. These include site plan coordination, load summaries, power distribution, controls, lighting, emergency power–generators and battery backup, and fire alarms. Our designs ensure code compliance while optimizing value in cost, energy efficiency and constructability and, when required, the use of controls, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) controllers and other technologies.

Our designs integrate all electrical components with other disciplines through AutoCAD and BIM modelling software (REVIT) to ensure smooth construction and delivery.

Our technical staff use Building Information Modelling (BIM) to confirm that our designs are 'buildable' by creating a holistic, virtual building preview before drawings are ever issued.  We use this 3D visualization tool to analyze every aspect of a building's design to ensure that it meets all project requirements and to identify any cost-savings.  Coordinating our designs with those of other disciplines is vital.  Using BIM, we can integrate other 3D models into our design to detect clashes and make corrections.
